Mois Libre ✷ Trying Things Out
Avril ✷ le Mois Libre
Traduction en français plus bas
This season, the month of April gives way
to Mois Libre, a space for reflection
and critical engagement, where artists,
researchers, and activists intertwine
narratives and ideas to question
structures of oppression and envision
alternatives.
This key moment allows us to shape
a more responsive program,
directly addressing societal
urgencies.
An open and (almost spontaneous) space,
Mois Libre is rooted in the present
and the result of a collective reflection.

Trying Things Out

With Trying Things Out, some of the artists
active in Globe Aroma’s artistic workplace
open a window into their music, theater,
or performative projects still in the making.
The evening is conceived as a tapestry of try-
outs, excerpts, or shorter versions of works
in development brought together, one after
the other.
Given the in-progress — fragile — nature
of these projects, Trying Things Out is
for the attentive and caring eyes of those
who want to witness artistic research,
without expecting finished and polished works.
On stage, you can expect sound and songs,
memories passed down through generations,
stories of motherhood, glimpses of catwalk
performances and more. We’ll wrap up
the evening with a DJ set to delight
your ears!

Avec Trying Things Out, certain·es artistes actif·ves
Trying Things Out invite celles et ceux
